If you're driving to the 2013 Ben Lowell Aerial Confrontation, there are a few things to be aware of:
- No later than April 5th, you must send an email to Mark Matticola, mark.matticola.1 [at] us.af.mil, with the following information for every attendee over the age of 18:
- Last name, First name
- Date of Birth
- Driver's License Number (or Social Security Number for anyone without a license)
- Name of the competitor you are affiliated with (or "self" if you are a competitor)
Upon arrival:
- Enter through the South Gate (map), which can be accessed from I-25, Exit 150 ("Academy Blvd").
- All visitors over 18 must present a photo ID.
- Tell the guards that you are going to the aerobatic contest with the 94th Flight Training Squadron on Talon Drive.
Once you are on the premises:
- Proceed west/northwest on South Gate Blvd. Go 0.8 miles
- Turn right on Airfield Dr. Go 0.2 miles.
- Turn left on Talon Dr. Go 0.2 miles
- Upon reaching the buildings, park in the lot on the left (west) side of Talon Dr.
- A shuttle will take you to the airfield
