Where: Greeley-Weld County Airport, Greeley CO (KGXY)

Schedule: Practice and registration will be Friday 5/28 through noon on Saturday 5/29. Contest briefing is at noon on Saturday, with contest flying Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday. There will be a banquet Sunday evening.

Categories: This is a five-category Power contest. (Unlimited pilots, please coordinate with the CD to make sure we'll have another competitor or two.)

Lodging: Kim Parker with the Greeley Chamber of Commerce (970-352-3567) has been very helpful and has recommended motels, hotels, bed and breakfasts, guest houses, and restaurants. See: http://www.greeleychamber.com/visiting/lodging.php. The closest Hotel is the Plaza Hotel & Conference Center, 701 8th St Greeley 80631 (former Clarion) 970-353-8444 (by the railroad tracks). There are several motels and restaurants over by the Super 8 Motel, 2423 W 29th St (970-330-8880).

Banquet: The awards banquet is reserved at the Old Chicago (2349 West 19th St Greeley, 970-330-1116) for Sunday May 30 at 7PM in their separate room. This room will seat about 50. You can get a steak, or pizza, or salad, etc. Each person can order from the menu and pay separately. You will not need to sign up or pay ahead of time. They also have a bar. You can order and eat whenever you get there and then we will have the awards after.

Transportation: We expect to have enough "friends & family" vehicles on site to move everybody around. But if you would like to have wheels of your very own, Enterprise will deliver cars to the FBO.
